China will possibly extend Standard Gauge Railway to Uasin Gishu County because it sees Eldoret, the capital of the County as a good destination for Chinese investment.
Chinese ambassador to Kenya Liu Xianfa said in Eldoret that he would entice Chinese investors to invest in the County because of good environment and good county governance.
First, he said, he would invite Chinese media based in Nairobi to make films so that they could sensitize the Chinese about the investment potential in Uasin Gishu County.
“In November 2016, Chinese media companies with bureaus in Nairobi will visit Uasin Gishu to film what the county can offer in business, so as to sensitize Chinese investors to set up investments in the county,” said Dr. Xianfa
